Strength and Conditioning

Dane Maurer started to see the benefits from lifting when he was in middle school. Lifting is a major part of overall fitness. Dane brings knowledge and energy into the weight room while providing a safe space for these young athletes. Dane obtained his exercise science degree from the University of Southern Indiana in 2016 then continued this education at Vincennes University where he earned his Physical Therapist Assistant degree.

The WHY behind lifting? Simple. Weight training mean getting stronger, but most importantly, injury prevention. Technique is the key to getting stronger and keeping the body healthy.

Lifting is what takes athletes to the next level. The extra time in the weight room gives the edge on the wrestling mat, court, field, track, pool, etc.

At MCWC, the superior technique taught in the wrestling room combined with extra hours, sweat, and hard work in the weight room will take athletes to the next level.
