MCWC offers specialized training throughout the year for wrestlers of every age and experience level. Each season has a specific focus, so athletes can join the program that fits their goals or train with us year-round.

PRESEASON PROGRAMS
LATE AUGUST - LATE OCTOBER
Beginner Preseason Prep (Ages 5–8)
A fun introduction to wrestling, building coordination, confidence, and fundamentals in a positive, high-energy environment.
Youth Preseason Program (2nd–7th Grade)
Strengthens fundamentals, improves conditioning, and prepares wrestlers for Folkstyle season through structured practice and live wrestling.
High School Preseason Program (8th–12th Grade)
Elite-level training in advanced technique, live wrestling, strength and conditioning, and mental performance.
Girls Practices
Dedicated training sessions for female wrestlers to build skill and confidence in a supportive, girls-only environment.
TEAM MCWC FOLKSTYLE SEASON
NOVEMBER - MARCH
The foundation of our training system: technically sound wrestling through purposeful drilling, position-specific training, live wrestling, and competition. Athletes are grouped by age and experience level:
Beginners
New wrestlers learning the fundamentals of the sport.
Group 2 (Average Elementary)
Elementary-age wrestlers building on core technique and conditioning.
Group 3 (Elementary & Middle School, Above Average)
Advanced elementary and middle school athletes ready for higher-level instruction and live wrestling.
Group 4 (Elite)
Our top-level competitive group for athletes training at the highest intensity.
TEAM MCWC FREESTYLE & GRECO SEASON
MID MARCH - MID MAY
Develops complete wrestlers through Olympic-style training: throws, mat awareness, creativity, and scoring, preparing athletes for state, national, and international competition.

Camps focus on one area of wrestling at a time — high-volume drilling, live situations, and individualized coaching. We offer a variety of position-based camps designed to target and develop the specific areas where each athlete needs the most improvement, including:
